Quality Assurance, Safety & Compliance

Engineering Integrity Backed by Systematic Control

Quality is not an inspection activity. It is an engineering discipline built into every stage of project execution.

Quality Management System

Our QA/QC Framework

Structured to ensure compliance, structural reliability, operational safety and long-term performance.

Material Control & Traceability

  • Procurement from approved vendors
  • Mill Test Certificate (MTC) verification
  • Material identification & tagging
  • Heat number traceability records

Fabrication Quality Control

  • Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) adherence
  • Qualified welders deployment
  • Joint fit-up inspection
  • Dimensional verification & alignment checks

Non-Destructive Testing

Inspections that confirm weld integrity, structural soundness and compliance with applicable standards.

  • UT Ultrasonic Testing
  • RT Radiographic Testing
  • DPT Dye Penetrant Testing
  • MPT Magnetic Particle Testing

Testing & Validation

No System Is Handed Over Without Complete Verification

Protocol

Hydrostatic & Pressure Testing

All storage systems and pressure components go through rigorous validation before commissioning.

  • Hydrostatic pressure testing
  • Leak detection & tightness verification
  • Settlement observation (for tanks)
  • Calibration of measuring instruments
  • Valve & safety system inspection
  • Nitrogen purging (where applicable)
  • Performance validation under controlled conditions
NDT

Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UT)

Plate thickness is measured with an ultrasonic thickness gauge, following ASTM E797 / ISO 16809. Readings are taken at the top, upper shell (0° and 90°), middle, lower shell and bottom of the tank.

Method: ASTM E797 / ISO 16809 Sample: 90 KL mild steel underground tank

Coating Wrapped underground tanks in their pit, ready for holiday detector testing before backfilling

Holiday Detector Test

A holiday detector finds pinholes, gaps and thin spots ("holidays") in the wrapping coating, so they can be repaired before the tank is buried.

  1. Check that the coating surface is clean and dry.
  2. Set the test voltage as per the coating manufacturer's recommendation.
  3. Sweep the electrode steadily over the entire coated surface.
  4. Mark every holiday where the detector signals.
  5. Repair the marked areas and retest them.
  6. Record the results.

The holiday detector test must be completed before backfilling.

Safety Management

Safety Is a Structural Responsibility, Not a Formality

Safety is embedded in our engineering practice at every stage of on-site execution.

Hazard Identification

Hazards identified and assessed before work begins.

Site Supervision Protocols

Supervisory engineering presence on site throughout execution.

Work Permit Systems

Work starts only after the required permits are in place.

PPE Enforcement

Personal protective equipment is mandatory for everyone on site.

Safety Compliance Audits

Regular audits with daily progress documentation.

Testing Before Handover

Every system validated through testing before it is handed over.

Our Quality Commitment

Validated, Verified, Documented

We do not merely execute projects. We deliver engineered systems validated through inspection, verified through testing and supported by compliance documentation.

  • Zero compromise on safety
  • Compliance-driven execution
  • Traceable fabrication standards
  • Verified commissioning protocols
  • Documented engineering transparency
